To enter Djerba, you need a passport that has to be valid for the following six months at least. It is possible to enter with your identity card, but only in the case that your ID card is valid for the next six months, that you are not travelling alone and in the case that you have booked all-in-holidays. It is highly recommendable to travel to Djerba with your passport and NOT with your ID card! A visa is not required! In the airplane, you will receive an entry card, a so called “carte de visiteur non-resident”, that you will have to fill out. On the airport you will get a verification paper of entry. Take care of it, as you will have to provide it at your departure. You can stay on Djerba up to four months without a visa. There are no vaccination requirements.
