Djerba

Djerba can be approached by air in less than three hours from Central Europe. There is an international airport, named Melitta. Almost every national airline offers scheduled- and charter flights and almost every British or German airport approaches Djerba (DJE). The majority of the tourists are all-in travellers. However if you’re considering an individual trip, you should check budget flight airlines who often approach Djerba and always have some special offers. You should take charge of an accommodation in time, as hotels will be mostly booked up in summers. If you want to travel by car, you will have to go for quite an expensive transit, for example from Italy (Sardinia, Sicily or Genoa) or France (Marseille). In Tunisia, in summer, there is a daily car-ferry from Djorf on the mainland to Adjim on Djerba
